Pregnancy and Post Natal Massage
Therapeutic whole body massage treatment focused on easing discomfort associated with being pregnant, preparing the mother to be for labour and supporting the huge changes that occur both during pregnancy, labour and after childbirth.
Suitable for a mother to be during pregnancy or from 4 weeks after giving birth.
A therapeutic touch treatment carried out whilst the client is undressed to their level of comfort, lying on their side or back and covered with towels or blankets.
Treatments to support Palliative Care
Therapeutic body treatment modified specifically to gently support and nurture those surviving from treatment, cancer, other traumatic experiences and towards end of life. Aimed at promoting relaxation, improving quality of life, reducing any side effects and providing a soothing, supportive touch.
Suitable for those in or have a history of cancer treatment, palliative care or trauma. A therapeutic touch treatment carried out through lightweight clothing, lying or seated in a position that is most comfortable for the Client, whilst covered in blankets.
Detox Massage
Holistic body treatment that uses a combination of focused breath work, acupressure points on the face and feet together with gentle strokes over the abdomen to promote the client’s natural “relax, repair and digest” mechanism to promote regulation and harmony throughout the whole body.
Suitable for those who suffer from symptoms of stress and anxiety, Irritable Bowel Syndrome or wish to have a series of treatments to support a weight loss programme.
Carried out whilst the client is undressed to their level of comfort and covered with towels or blankets.
Bowen Therapy
A non-invasive holistic therapy that involves gentle light moves at strategic points of the body with significant pauses or breaks. The technique works on the fascia (connective tissue) to enlist natural “relax, repair and digest” mechanism to prompt a rebalance between the brain, the body, the mind and spirit.
Suitable for all from babies to elderly or infirm and everyone inbetween. A light non invasive treatment with no sudden or heavy movements, carried out through lightweight clothing while the Client is covered in blankets or towels.
Reiki
Japanese treatment, based on the premise that every living thing has & is surrounded by “Universal Energy’ otherwise known as “Reiki” that supports life. Disruption to this natural essence is thought to lead to disease & ill-health in the living. A light gentle and supportive touch directs Energy to be used or absorbed to promote relaxation & self-healing.
Suitable for all from babies to the elderly or infirm. A supportive touch treatment carried out through lightweight clothing while the Client is covered with blankets that does not require physical touch to be helpful.
Natural Face Lift Massage
A revitalising treatment that focuses on the upper body, neck, head and face. used to release tension and stress. and assist with headaches. The treatment may be helpful for those prone to tension headaches or migraines to release the common areas associated with stress or tension whilst improving skin quality and texture, boosting lymph flow as well as energy. Simply rejuvenating from the inside out.
